Art, no matter the medium, beckons the artist. We ignore the call at our peril. After extended silence, photography called out to me again. A friend and fellow photographer put a camera into my hands and encouraged me to take a few shots. My friend knew that in the past I had a profound interest in photography, and she was surprised that I had little current interest.

At the time I had no photography equipment and I was preoccupied with my work-a-day world. However, the tactile experience with that camera sparked muscle memory and emotions I had not been in touch with for a long time. I was taken -again- by the compelling nature of capturing the natural world through pieces of convex glass.

That was in 2005.

Fast forward to the present. I have answered the call. To me an important aspect of the expression is sharing. As a result, this website is my answer to the recurring question, "so, what do you like to shoot."

Enjoy!
