Small Things. Everyday things and things normally disregarded. This series illustrates my recent interest in objects we interact with so often we don’t really see them.
This turned out to be an extended meditation on utensils and objects that typically escape close attention or examination largely because they are so ubiquitous and so normal. But upon close observation the images that reveal themselves illustrate the interest, intrigue and drama available in simple everyday objects.
Even a discarded ball of wire finds significance. The unifying idea in the Small Things series is that even regular, everyday things have beauty and are worthy of contemplation.
